With the dual purpose of keeping the pace and holding the vibe for my 2020 goals, starting this week (the second week of 2020), throughout and including the thirteenth week of the year (which happens at the very end of March), I’m committing to the following:
- Fast every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, only having water, coffee and up to 96 grams of Whey protein.
- Train every Monday to Friday for 40 minutes, and go for a 10-15 kilometer run on Sundays.
- Work every Monday to Friday for 90 focused minutes on the ustack, with a view to publish a new and definitive version of gotoB.
- Work every Monday to Friday for 90 focused minutes on one of the three apps I’m working on, with a view to launch a paid version of each of them.
This is not as crazy as it may sound. I already have had weeks were I did or nearly did all of the above. What I haven’t been able to is to do it consistently over a period of more than 2-3 weeks. This is especially the case with fasts.
The challenge is not just about putting in more fasts or more hours of focus into projects that matter – although that by itself would justify it. The challenge is also (and perhaps mainly) about shifting to a different physical, mental and emotional level. My main intention is to use purpose, structure and momentum to break through certain barriers that are holding me back.
On March 30, 2020, I will write another post to report how did the challenge go.
In the meantime, I’m excited to get into this.
