Compare to:

Libertarianism: irresponsible. You have a responsibility towards others.

Neoliberalism: a cop-out to the law of the strong in economics.

Fascism: a psychotic collective ego trip of violence.

Communism: state paternalism built on an axiom of warfare (class struggle).

Anarchism: the result, not the process.

Social democracy is like wet kindling. Difficult to get a fire going with that. But it has given us the most humane warmth. And I expect that any good future will build along social democratic lines, and not those of other worldviews.
