[WARNING: HYPOTHESIS]
- Take care of the essentials: sleep, nutrition, exercise, time with family and friends, living arrangement. Structure your life in a way that the fundamentals are taken care of and you don’t have to think about them, just execute them.
- Live in the impossible: think of it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Dream about it. Visualize it when you’re unloading the dishwasher. Visualize, don’t fantasize. How will it be when it is? How does it take shape and how does it shape affect the shape of other things? Come up with ideas for your work sessions.
- Work quickly and consistently in it: even in the bad days, show up and have a strong pace. No plodding. Reserve the plodding only for the very worst days, and even then figure out how to pick up the pace. It’s not supposed to be comfortable, this is after all something impossible. Consistent work, consistently fast. Showing up is rate of movement; speed is rate of fire.
